Just saw this on the Microwave Reflector with many following positive comments, mainly from the East Coast gang. Now that Jim has got a nice group going on 222 MHz Tuesdays, we might consider this plan for a microwave activity day the first weekend of each month.

Pse forgive the cross-post. I saw a post from Rus, K2UA earlier today
suggesting bringing back microwave days during the winter months to
excite some activity. Being new to uW's I was not aware this ever existed.

The response on the various reflectors/groups has been extremely
positive with at least a dozen ops planning to operate from portable or
home stations on many bands.

I would like to suggest that we make each first weekend of every month a
microwave activity weekend, year round. I currently only have 10 GHz but
I will be available all this next weekend if anyone would like to sked
with me. Feel free to call me or e-mail me to set something up. 73
