I hope to get my old Rohn 25 tower up sometime this Summer. I remembered the struggle I had the first time and decided to fabricate some tools to help with assembly. The design came from an October 1999 QST review article. I used the material I happened to have in the shop.

I think I improved a little on the leg aligner. I remember the struggle I had with a tool like that.

I have one of the tower jacks which are nice when taking apart sections.  My persuader (aligner) is hand sledge hammer.  A drift is handy getting bolt holes aligned.

One has to be careful with the jack to keep it close to the tower leg or you will only succeed in bending the cross braces.

I need to find 30-foot* of Rohn-25 for this summer; used tower supply is drying up and new sections are $250/ea. in Anchorage.

*support of my 30-foot long 6elem 6m yagi.
