I also need DN15.    in the past I put DN15 on 3 times for the June VHF contest.  but just getting to the good spot can be a problem due to snow still blocking the road .
but it would be easy for the September contest.
there is the road called Mill Creek Dr. that is on the edge of Walla Walla that will take you to the very top. it will Y off to the road to Table Rock fire look out. http://www.firelookout.com/wa/tablerock.html
the Y in the road has a very large flat area to set up.and it's at 6000Ft.  and the road is very good Even the ENTERPRISE could get there....Hint..Hint....I have worked into Seattle from there with a 3el beam and 100w.
I think the only way we will work Dan, W7TDZ is by aurora

I activated that site last September. Set up with 5 bands. Worked several folks from CN land. I hope to return this September.

Its getting to the point where we need someone in the club with a CDL "A", Tractor with lowboy, and more money than sense so we can get snow removal equipment into these areas before the contests:)

I've already solved the headache of building a fully equipped "mobile base station".........

Table Rock is a popular name, so maybe there is another, but this one is
in DN16ba. Looks like a neat location.

not sure this link will work ..my mail program wants to break the line

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=46.03102,-117.91197&hl=en&ll=46.031147,-117.904329&spn=0.007315,0.015857&sll=46.063733,-117.910981&sspn=0.014621,0.048065&z=16

You will travel through DN15 getting there from Walla ditto, but end up in
DN16.

Riggins, ID in Idaho County just west (above Hells Canyon) are DN15. None of these roads are snow covered and are very easy driving. Unavco has remote sensing equipment in Riggins operating 70 MHz meteor burst to their headend in Seattle with just a dipole antenna. 50MHz can't be that tough out of there...
