Hello all.

Not sure what there is to document about installing the xvtr on the tower.

Folks do that all the time.

Mike, KD7TS, runs his 10 and 24ghz xvtrs on the tower. Complete az/el.

In the past years I have put my Maki-Denki 1.2 and 2.4 xvtrs at the rotator and run the 144 i-f through rg-213. The 2.4ghz output pwr is only .6w so I felt that helped out. I put them in a plastic garbage bag and left them up there for a few months.

Probably didn't work anyone that I couldn't have worked from the other end of 140ft of 7/8ths. I gave it a try tho. Always worth a try.
