Canping overnight at Pacific Beach State Park in CN77.  On 6M SSB only.  100W to a 6M KB6KQ koop 6 ft above camper roof, 14ft above ground.  Next to large sand beach and surf, should hear simeone.

Tomorrow plan ro camp at Klosxhe Nanitch lookout west of Port Angelas if the horse campground on the highway nearvy is full.  Also CN77.

I'm not familiar with that antenna, but will you toss an RF ground into the saltwater?

Horizontal omni loop, no ground and too far to wet stuff.

KB6KQ is a good Omni antenna. But if you can rustle up a moxon then you’d get some directional gain.
I think you’ll discover the Kloshe Nanitch parking area and lookout platform is CN78xb and not CN77. Fantastic view - skip the campground and go up there anyway!

Rr on grid. Spent a weekend up there for VHF contest many years back.  Antenna is on roof of camper making rotation more difficult than the ROI.

Have moderate high noise levels here in the park likekly from so many nearby solar chargers. That may subside in a couple hours.
