It is with great sorrow that I report the recent passing of Greg
Chartrand, W7MY (ex-WA9EYY).
Greg and I go back 65 years to when we were newbie ham teenagers on the
south side of Chicago signing WA9EYY and K9VBS. As these things happen,
we were separated for some years and wound up 80 miles apart in central
Washington.
Greg was active in VHF contests but eventually had to give up VHF/UHF
operations because of physical limitation.
You will be missed, RIP my friend.....
