Hi VHF society,
It is pretty easy to add a new frequency to the menus for WSJT-X 1.8 RC2.

Open File-->Settings
Choose the tab label "Frequencies"

In the upper table, Working Frequencies, right click on any table row and choose "Insert."
In the dialog box pull down IARU Region 2.
Next choose Mode FT8 on the bottom.
In the lowest box, type your frequency 144.174
Click OK to close that box.

Repeat the steps choosing
Region 2
FT8
432.500
Click OK to close the Settings window.

If you are using rig control, you now can tune your rig using the drop down menu in the main screen.

Hello Team,
WSJT-X V1.8 rc3 had been posted with the addition of new frequencies added. I unaware of addition of 2Mtr but thought I'd mention it.
The full version is expected it within the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for the instructions to add frequencies to the FT8 function. Works. I was able to transmit FT8 on both 2 meters and 432.5. Moreover, I discovered by using the FM position on the TE Systems Amp I can get 300+ watts out and the mast mounted preamp switches the relays internally, so all seems to be good.
