I got the Microwave Modules MMT 144/28 transverter converted to 220/28 MHz by Hans VE3CRU many years ago. This MMT-220 does not work at all, and I am looking for the documentation, service manual to troubleshoot, even for the 144/28 version.
I appreciate any help.

Ted:

Here is a link to the manual.

Unfortunately there is no schematic, though there is a basic description of the circuit.  I'll check my files later today as I seem to recall having the schematic at one time.  I had MMt's for 144/222/432 at one time but switched to SSB Electronics LT Series xverters in the mid-late 80's.  I still have them and am using them on 2m digital EME without any frequency locked LO's....and getting away with it just fine after an hour warmup.

The 220 MMt xverter was very similar to the 2m one.  Hans would start with a 144 xverter and convert it because MM would not make them.

Hope you can get yours working OK.
