Sometime in the next week or two I am going to sell my backup
IC-7000 on Ebay. It should fetch 750-850 pretty easily, based on
the recent sales I have watched.
I have to decided to offer it here first to see if any of my
PNWVHFS friends might be interested instead.
The IC-7000 is a legend..HF-VHF-UHF, all mode, all in one radio.
I have one in my travel trailer, and another in my Pickup. I have
decided I don't need a third one.
This radio works fine, as it is intended. The only two issues are
that the tab on the RJ45 on the standard microphone is broken off,
but it does not affect the use of the mic. (I will also include
another Icom microphone.) The other issue is that the owner's
manual is a copy, not the original. No big deal.
Before delivery, I will perform a full-factory reset, and then
insert your callsign on the opening screen if you wish.
