Velcro (style) cable ties @ Harbor freight

A possible item of interest for those who roll up and unroll coils of coax, extensions cords, or ropes, etc.. 

 

I was in Harbor Freight recently and spotted a package of 10" hook'n'loop (Velcro type) cable ties.

 They were $6.00 for the package of 20 pieces. With my 25% off coupon, that made them $4.50.

They are definitely long enough to contain a 50 foot roll of RG-8 or similar size coax.  One end has a slot so the tie can be fastened near a coax end and will become captive.  Then the remaining tie is wrapped around the coax coil and secured with the hook and loop material. 

No lost ties or tape residue.

I have them also and they work great for many thing.

Even non radio projects ...heaven's forbid!
