And this morsel from Bill about suggested frequencies (so far)

...
Hi Bill,

for N. America at least 50.275 for terrestrial ionoscatter, and 50.211 for EME have been proposed. In EU testing activity has been lower, 50.305 has been suggested as a possible frequency for terrestrial operation in the EU over long distances. Nothing is set in stone at this stage.

I have run JT65B and MAP65 for several years on 144-eme and found
lower limit for decoding 100% is about -26 dB and some decoding down
to -28 dB so Q65 promising to extend that down to low as -31 dB is
encouraging.

For those not familiar with JT65 signal level indications, its the
level below SNR=0 at 2.5 KHz bandwidth. CW is detectable to -17 dB
on that scale because CW-eme band widths are usually very narrow
(down to 50-Hz).

This obtained by ratio of bandwidth in dB: 10Log(50/2500) = -17 dB.

I am still not QRV on eme due to multiple problems: high SWR on 144,
1kW PA trips off at 100w on 6m; dish removed for rebuild for 1296 & 3400 eme.

But looking forward to trying Q65 once I have an eme system QRV.
