Yesterday there was a good turnout in CN85 for the 70cm Sprint with activity from 10 stations. Considering that about a week ago there were 14 stations on the air for the 2m Sprint, the number of Qs for 70cm was kind of impressive. A lot of new folks to the band learned a few things about dial frequency vs. actual for many radios, and that it's troublesome but necessary to aim antennas.
I hope this bodes well for turnout for June VHF...
