The Commission has instructed me to ask for a roll call of those that intend
to be on the air tomorrow night for SKN.

If you will be on the air, please reply with your general location, six
character grid locator and the bands that you plan to light up.

W7DHC intends to be on for SKN from CN88sv from approximately 7:00 pm
to 10:00 pm local (PST). I will likey concentrate on 144 MHz, but
will also give 50 MHz, 222 MHz and 432 MHz a preiodic shot. For the
VERY adventurous, I will have the 1.2 GHz rig warmed up.

I have dusted off the trusty WWII US Navy (Bendix) key and verified
that it does, indeed, work. I have also verified that both the less-
than-trusty fist and the proverbial tin ear are VERY RUSTY, so
patience will be required.

Hopefully, the "Look South Syndrome" that seems to appear during
contests and special events will not take its toll. CN88sv is NORTH
for all but my fine VE7 neighbors. If you are south of the 49th
Parallel, please turn your antennas NORTH once in a while. You may
be rewarded with a very rusty CW QSO from W7DHC.

Happy New Year to all!

73,

Jim - W7DHC
