Update - pnwcode4lib

Howdy,

Did you save the date of June 13th!?!

The Pacific Northwest Code4lib 2011 is coming and it's not about code or libraries.  It's about technology folks and library folks as a community that shares ideas, stepping up to lead and work together; it's about participation.   Anyone using technology to make a library patron's experience better should come and join in the conversation.  As we develop the schedule, we are hoping to put your name on it.  You are an innovator and problem solver familiar with the trends and technologies making today's libraries great, so it is time to share information about your projects.  Come to the Pacific Northwest Code4Lib 2011.

Do you have tools, software, or ideas that can help others in libraries?  Here a technology tool for help in delivering presentations; take a look at "screencasting," the art of capturing the output of a computer screen and making it part of a presentation.  Check out: "Screencasting Tools for Creating Video Tutorials" http://mashable.com/2008/02/21/screencasting-video-tutorials/

These are the kind of help and ideas we can share with each other at code4lib.  Your registration materials will be out shortly (we ran into a little change in credit card processing we need to accommodate).  The cost, which covers facilities, snacks, refreshments and lunch, is set at $60 if paid by April 29 and $75 thereafter.

Also, did you know that the national code4lib-2012 will be held right here in the Northwest?  We plan on closing our pnwcode4lib-2011 with time to solicit your ideas for this upcoming conference and how we can show that the Northwest is best.

Look forward to seeing you there,
