I'm not talking about cold sores. I'm talking about genital.
Herpes is not only AIDS related, but Epstein-Barr Virus - once thought
to be a relative of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is also a form of the
Herpes Virus, so is Mono.
They often have to put a special agent on the skin to detect
Herpes because many people show no signs but can still pass it. Unless
you are aware of that, and unless you go to a viral disease clinic,
it's not likely that you'll get an accurate test result.

of AIDS patients. They believe there is a link.
Yes it's possible to "squeak by", but these days? You're chances
aren't real good that you will walk away with nothing.

that is the reason most laypersons don't try and pass themselves off as
knowledgeable. You should ratchet your assumed authority down a bit.

There is more than a link. I have just spent the last three years
researching and tracking a virus that is found to be the actual cause of
many autoimmune conditions. Almost everyone of the two hundred people I
who's case histories I have studied suffer from some form of herpes. There
has been strong evidence that this new virus is also passed between
lovers. Finish this off with the fact that they have just found evidence
of HIV in the folds of the adenoids (that's in your throat) and you
couldn't wear enough condoms to protect yourself.
I am not saying that you
shouldn't get close to people, but group sex, or even one at a time over
and over increases your risks tremendously. AIDS is just the beginning and
it is becoming clear that AIDS is in fact multiple viral, bacterial,
fungal invaders in one system. If you add alcohol, drugs etc, to that mix,
even over the counter stuff, and you just became a candidate for organ
transplant. This may sound like an exaggeration, but believe me it is an
understatement. There is a lot of information that the general public is
not aware of.
I've got a pretty good idea of what the last woman the Jack Kavorkian
helped to die had, and believe me she wanted to die. I just cannot
describe adequately, the suffering I have seen in the last several years.
Em and Marsha are right when they accuse a person who is cheating on their
spouse of risking that person's very life. If someone trusts you to be
faithful, they put their life in your hands, and deserve to have that

The "agent" is a solution of acetic acid (like vinegar) on the
gentials. If the skin is infected or abnormal it will show. Viral
disease clinics are the experts in the latest research and treatments
- that's why advise not going to Planned Parenthood or some other place.

I do know a few ways to detect broken skin, and I was asking if you were
aware that is what you were looking for. Your answer suggests you ddidn't
know that. The test you mention is not specific for herpes, the situation
you implied. Weak acids can be used to test for any skin break. Try your
test on a chancre as soon as it appears. Tell us what happens.

I know you have not. That is why I asked directly. You have *implied*
you are a physician, and some on here believe it or believe that you are
in medical school to become a physician. One of the things I care about
deeply is education. I think it is important to identify those who have
it, from those who pretend to have it or imply they have it, because I
believe education is an important asset and shouldn't be devalued. I do
not dislike people who do not have formal education (like most of my
wonderful extended family), but I do encourage everyone to get as much as
is practical and I try to promote access. I also try always to confront
those who fake it.

I hope Emireen will choose to comment. That is where the question was
directed. I'm not sure why you felt the need to chime in, since I'm not
confused about the difference in the degrees. I'm pretty familiar with
both, but thanks for the insightful comments. I will add one thing: most
informed people will grant there are advanced science and
engineering degrees and there is everything else. (For those who want a
translation, science includes things like physics, chemistry, biology and
in practice, math. Engineering includes, well, engineering... you know
applied physics, math, chemistry, biology and medicine.) OK, just one
more thing (really, I promise.) If Emireen is in Med School, perhaps he
will tell us who teaches the classes. He will probably say MD's and PhD's
in science. He probably won't say economists, psychologists, historians,
musicologists, etc.

What? Rick, I do believe that you've even missed the point of
a very SIMPLISTIC explanation of Blue Cross of Idaho medical
insurance coverage. Blue Cross will pay for therapy from
a MEDICAL DOCTOR but they won't pay for therapy from a DOCTOR
OF PHILOSOPHY.

Wrong. Medical school consists of many things. Anatomy is
only a year in med school. It varies slightly from school to school.
the 4 major areas of study for future doctors:
Chemistry, biology, physics, and english. You need math. I
didn't fuck up. I took a _test_ for entrance to a particular class,
and I had trouble with it. I'll probably have to take the class
again. It's hard to get kicked out of medical school once you're in.

I recommend that someone or several of us forward phillips
pedophillic dialog to his provider. While harrassment may be tolerated
for the moment via public forums his pedophillic obssession has
crossed the border in an attempt to slander three or for members of
the group. I do believe one could bring suit against him for this, as
well as the provider if they do not attempt to rein in his drivolity.
anyway, the way I read it, he seems to be suggesting that he is the
child abuser. A man who may definitely be in need of some serious
mental rehabilatation.

Sorry, Marsha and Katharine, but what Phillip is doing is not
slander, libel, defamation, or holding a person up to public
ridicule. At least not in the state of Washington.
The reason? To prove the above offenses, there must be damage
to the victim of the slander etc. In this case, the alleged
"victim", is bd103. This is an anonymous entity. You cannot
damage and anonymous entity with slander etc., since no one
knows who the entity is and cannot apply the content of the
slander to that entity. Therefore, no damage.
And, may I remind you, that should bd103 wish to take court
action of any kind against anyone, then it would have to appear
physically in a court of law and identify itself oopenly and
publicly. I would pay good money to see that happen. Go read
the sixth amendment to the US constitution to verify what I say.
And as far as your outrage against what Phillip is doing here,
METHINKS THOU DOST PROTEST TOO MUCH. What he is doing is
clearly an imitation of the tactics that your own "ilk" crowd
has used against all the rest of us. He is just doing it better
than you were able to. More power to him. Its about time
somebody made you squeal.
And as to your newfound weapon of crying slander etc. and
harrassment against the rest of us, please remember that
everything that you have written against all of us in the past
is contained in an archive somewhere, and
can be produced in any court action as a defense against you.
