10ghz weekend

All,

  I have finished my 10ghz station I go from K7ND last fall.  Setup is a Demi Xvtr w/ built in pre-amp, 4w amp and 30" dish.  I am thinking of going up to one of two peaks(Mt. Ashland or Dutchman Peak) this coming Sunday to give it a maiden voyage.  From either location I have a clear shot to Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier.  Of course they are all more than 200 miles away, but would like to try to work some of you guys up north.

  Let me know whatcha all think on this.

I can plan on going somewhere with a view of Mt Rainier on Sunday. I may plan on going down to spot in CN96/CN86 that I have not been to in several years.  Hopefully road is good enough to make it.  Let me know - my number is 425-260-5043.

I just remembered no cell service there.  Perhaps I should go back to Marysville spot - at least there is cell service there.

Think I solved my temperature issue.  Plan is Sunday from 6:30am to 10:00 or so.  CN82pb at around 7500', have a good looking path to Ranier, Olympics and St. Helens.  Other than the horizon being in the way.  Also be patient with my slow terrible CW...  Text/Call 541-890-1999 to set something up.

I will plan on being somewhere with a path to Rainier at 8:30AM on Sunday.  Not sure where yet but definitely want to try to hear and work you.  Don't worry about CW. 

Are you locked to GPS?  I am so I should be right on 10368.1 plus 700 Hz.

I am at Little Mtn now near Mt Vernon.A few small trees have grown up in view but can get between them i think. Have fog clearing off. Will start setting up on Gazebo.

10:40am. I’m looking at rainier. Heard Ray on 10ghz, he heard me. But can’t seem to hear each other at the same time. Anyway I’m running my cw beacon for next 20 minutes
