With input from many, I have a pretty good block diagram of the derelict transverter assembly, found in Mike's garage. 'We' determined it is for 24 GHz.
It uses a DB6NT 24 GHz transverter module and a MM-Tech amplifier.
A pair of relays switch the pre-amp and power amp and the various filters from transmit to receive paths.
When looking for more information on the 24 GHz DB6NT unit, I found this wonderful KM0T link about the amplifier module used. There is also a lot more information, but this piece is a real gem. It turns out to be a 2 watt amp, if set up properly. 2 watts on 24 GHz from a 'pile of junk' in Mikes garage... Yowza!
