According to Hristiyan, LZ5HP of SG Labs, they will begin production of their 9cm with expected availability in mid-January.

Anyone else interested in 3456.1 MHz?   Use it or lose it.

I already have one - I guess I got a pre-release?  I sure hope they do not take away 3456 - I now have two transverters for that band (DEMI and SG-LABS).  I know KE7SW also has 3456..

I have Mike’s transverter and amp. I have the transverter working, I just need t get the amp and an antenna and I’ll be all set. I do really like my SG transverter’s (902, 1296 with amp and 2304). They are well built and easy to interface.

Cheers!

Frank,
Here's SG Lab's web page:
https://www.sg-lab.com/

He has not updated the Amateur link on the webpage yet for the 9cm transverter, but the ones for 33cm, 23cm and 13cm are there.  Also there's some microwave amplifiers on that same page.

Hi Konrad,

Those looks like they are well built. I like the boxes he is using. I have been trying to find something similar here in the US but without luck so far. Do you have any price info on the transverters?

I just received my 1296 transverter and PA/LNA yesterday, ordered about a month ago, there can be a lead time.

Here is the 1296 pricing as of my October 2019 order date snipped from my emails.

_________________

The price of 1296 MHz transverter V2.3 is 156 Euro.

The price of 25W PA for 1296 MHz is 162 Euro.

The price for economy shipping is 10 Euro for 1 unit, 12 Euro for 2 units (transverter + PA ).

Payment can be made by Paypal (our account is : in...@sg-lab.com ) or by bank transfer.

Now lead time for 23cm transverters and 25W PA for 1296 MHz is 2 weeks.

I don't know if the price is the same but when I bought mine about 6 months ago (it was version 1.3) the price was 240 Euros plus 10 Euros for shipping.  They might have a newer version or price now.

I was wondering where the 3456 amp ended up.  Be aware that I have read comments about the Toshiba amp that the power supply needs to be carefully controlled at 12.6 volts.
See http://www.kl7uw.com/eme3400.htm and follow Ed's links for more info.  Not sure which model of the amp you have - I think it is the B version.  The easy way to tell is the SMA connector sticks straight out on the "B" version or it bends 90 degrees on the "A" version.

Frank I sent you an e-mail but not sure it got there.  I was wondering about trying 10 GHz either this Friday or Saturday bouncing off of Mount Jupiter.  You should see it at around 283 degrees magnetic or  298 degrees true.
Let me know if you feel up to trying the path.  Barry AC7MD and Dale KD7UO have said they might be up for such an experiment.

I am not sure I can hit the Capital Peak Repeater well from my car - I will try.  We could just set a time and try.
