we should actually use which logo? the 1 with or without "inter-university band competition"?

I think use the one without.
Btw, the flyers are gonna printed in small scale and maybe black and
white. So, the main focus is to:
1. Have clear information, don't use too 'flowery' fonts. Make it
clear and easy to read, on the scale of 1/8 A4 paper
2. Make the design simple. No nid to apply too much effects on the
background etc.
Have a look at the previous flyers. Flyers aren't tat important
compared to posters etc. So focus on poster designs.
