We could use your help gathering some documents, that I hope you or
Ahmad have readily available. Could you please pass this along to
him or whoever could send us the docs?
The PNB Personnel Committee is compiling documents related to the GM
search process for stations looking for a GM, and we plan to put all
this together to help in future searches for GMs and PDs.
Here's what we need:
* documents that future LSB's might need regarding searching for GM's and PD's
In particular:
- Pacifica GM and PD job descriptions (and if they can be
customized for each station),
- recommended process for the management personnel search,
- docs on interviewing and narrowing the field of candidates, etc.
- docs related to the process of reviewing GMs and PDs after they
are hired, too.
We're asking committee members from each station to also supply this
kind of info and also feedback on how the process is going/what
worked/process recommendations, but if you have any standard info for
each station, we'd like to put it together with the feedback from
each station.
And of course we'll share what we get with you, too.
We have a committee meeting next Thursday evening, so if you could
send us what you have before that, I'd really appreciate it.
Also, Arlene, did you see my e-mail from a few days ago about an org
chart (or outline with that info) for the National Office and PRA?
We are working on generating ones for our own stations and want to
put it all together into an overall org chart.
