Basically, you are ok only in Utah and soon Virginia.

But I thought the newer ones fed power ONLY if there was power at the outlet. That solved the safety issue if there was a power outage.

The other thing I’m hearing is that they are paired with one of the battery backup devices.

As per:

So... nope.

Probably no movement on this for the next 3-4 years.

I’m out for a while, I fell on a rock while doing trail work and broke my arm. It is healing without surgery but I’ll be in a sling for 8 weeks. See you in a while.
