[pmwiki-devel] Change in search box

Entering a search for "$_Request" the search string in the search box is changed from "$" to the html entity for $.

This means that clicking on the search button will not find the original search string, as the html entity is not changed back (correctly so) to "$".

Its possible something has changed.

IMHO the search text fields should not convert the "$" to an html entity.

Thanks for noticing - indeed changed in 2.3.13, now fixed for 2.3.14.

$ here was doubly-encoded, first to $ then & to & which broke
it.
