Thought I'd catch-up on this group and find motivation for PMP prep.
How are the preparations going? If you have finished everything and
are readying for application - you are an inspiration to others so let
everyone know. If not, you're like some of us who probably need that
cushion :-)

Also (on a similar note) I 'm not really good with e-books and was
thinking of buying PMBOK 4th Edition but wasn't sure if that's worth.
Any thoughts, anyone (agree or disagree)? If you have a copy to spare,
I'll be happy to pick it

Thanks,
Jayant

Jayant,

I would recommend taking the E-Book to a print shop and get it printed and hard-bound. That cost will be well below Rs. 500, and you'd have a copy of the PMBOK. The real book would cost you somewhere around Rs. 2500-3000.  Our PMP trainer also had a "printed" e-bok version of the PMBOK.. :-)

As for the prep, just completing the hours on the website, and just a few hours short of getting the 35-PDU cert. Hopefully by end of June would try and book a spot for the exam.

Good luck,

Ritam.
