Hi Guys !

Any one planning to apply for the PMP exam with in the offer-period
given by KW . I have verified and got approval from himani on my
project experience .. any one else joining me . to write the exam ..

Hi Team,

I too got approval from Himani and yesterday i applied for the approval from PMI.

I am waiting for their approval and it will take min 5 working days.

If i get approval, i am planning to take the exam on april mid. but not in the offer period.

If any suggestions, pls guide me.

Based on PMP handbook, the sequence is as followes...
First they aprove, then need to  pay the  EXAM fee, then they will tell us, is our application chosen for Audit or not.

They say that the application would get approved within 5 business days. Mine got approved on 4th day.

No fee is required while booking for the exam. The fee is included in $405 that you've already paid.

By Luck, my application got approved without Audit.

I have passed the audit ..

 

The complete Process in concise .

 

1. Register with PMI

2. Fill in the Experience details

3. Apply for Exam  $405

4. Will a message after the payment if you are selected for Audit or Not (Happens only after paying the fees )

     If Not selected enjoy Apply with promatric center

     If selected

4. You will get a Audit package

5. Take the print out of it .

       > It contains a form to be filled by your manager .

       > Asking for the copy your Educational Certificate eg : Digree certificate

       > Asking for the copy of PM education

6. If you have multilple managers for authorisation

   >Take seperate Envelop for each manager get him filled the form with his signature .

   >Also after closing the envelop with gum ask that manager to countersign on the flap

   >Put all the envelops together in a bigger one

7. Sent to the address mentioned in the form

     Courier will cost > 1500rs  will deliver 5 working days

     Indian Postal Service  < 600 Rs Will Deliver before 15 Days (  I went for this )

8 . You will get notification once they recieve the package

9 . With in 5-7 working days you will get the mail with Audit result ( It happened in 48 hrs for me . )
