Hello All,

I have mailed PMI.org that I couldn't take up the exam and interested in giving the exam. I was having a notion that I have to undergo the 35Hours PDU again to give the examination. But that's not the case, I got a ray of hope to give the exam after receiving the mail from them.

The following information was mailed by them,

"You may use your Project Management Education (i.e. 35 contact hours of Formal Education) any time you wish to appear for PMP exam. You are required to document all education hours regardless of when they were accrued. Your PMP training is not time specific and doesn’t hold any validity you can utilize the same training experience in order to fulfill the eligibility requirement for the PMP examination. The course work must be completed at the time you submit the application.

Note: You may take the exam based on the 4th edition regardless of which Project Management courses or PMBOK edition training you have taken. Also, it is not mandatory to take the training again."

So whoever is planning to give  the examination, gear up for it and try to give the examination.

All the best.

regards

Yes, I agree. After all what you need is a months’ time.

Regards,

Madhubanti.
