All,

Let's have some fun here today and learn something at the same time: I would like to know what your favorite PMP exam mnemonic is.

A mnemonic is a memory/learning device that is aimed at helping you remember a fact through an association. Sounds complicated, but it's very simple.

For instance, my favorite Mnemonic is the way that I remember the 6 domains: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, Closing and Professional responsibility. What I did is that I took the first letters of each word (I-P-E-M-C-C-P) and I came up with the following "menomic sentence"

In Projects Every Monkey Counts Coconuts Passionately

I don't think that I'll ever forget this... :-)

So let's hear yours... what is your favorite (or funniest) mnemonic that helps you remember a fact, ITTOs, process names or tools & techniques of the PMP Exam?

Until next time,
Cornelius Fichtner, PMP

Dear All,
Its really nice to see such a wonderful idea here. The guys working for GRE or GMAT etc very often use this method to remember the meanings of difficult vocabulary words.
I am waiting for the inputs from our other fellow members, and will soon upload mine.
