PMP Application and Audit

Hi Folks,

I am a little fuzzy about the Audit process. As per the email from
PMI, my application has been approved and they asked me to pay the PMP
Exam Fee.

The email from PMI goes something like this:
"The next step in the process is to submit payment for the credential
examination. Please note that PMI randomly selects a percentage of
applications to participate in the audit process, as detailed in the
credential handbook. Once payment is made toward your application, you
will be notified whether your application has been selected to
participate in this process..."

I have submitted the required payment for the exam and received a note
from PMI saying "You are eligible to take the PMI credential
examination". So far I haven't received any note about the Audit.
Shall I assume that my application has not been selected for the audit
process. Is there a time frame by which the email notifying about the
Audit comes? Shall I go ahead and block a date for the exam or wait
for a few more days.

That is correct, when you pay the exam fee, you will get one of two emails. Either go sit the test or you are being audited. If you have been told to schedule the test, you won't be getting audited.

Yes Manish, you are escape from Audit. go for the date and crack it.
