Dear colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to post the attached CfP for a two-year project "Shared Coasts, Divided Historiographies: Mobilizing People, Ideas, and Artifacts in the East Asian Mediterranean" that my colleague Gloria Yu Yang and I are realizing at Kyushu University with generous support from the Getty.

We invite junior academics (from PhD candidate status to 8 years after earning the PhD or below age 39) working in art history or related fields.

The main target group are junior academics who are affiliated with an institution in or researching a topic relating to the East Asian Mediterranean.

Please find the Call for Proposals with all information about scope, contents, and how to apply plus a detailed project description in the attachment.
