Colleagues,

Those of you with an interest in Waka Poetry and its formal recitation, might be interested in my latest video, ‘A Taste of Waka’.

This emerges from a short event held here at Sheffield a couple of weeks ago, featuring an introduction to waka recitation (hikō) and the formal recitation of a number of waka in the Reizei style, followed by translations and brief commentary by me.
