Part-time job in premodern Japanese History, J. F. Oberlin University (Obirin Daigaku)

I am posting the following part-time job listing on behalf of my employer, J. F. Oberlin University (Obirin Daigaku) in Tokyo. This is a course I now teach but am unable to continue for lack of time. The job would be a good opportunity for someone who wants teaching experience at a Japanese university. Apologies for the rushed timing, which is beyond my control.

J. F. Oberlin University is searching for a part-time instructor for “Premodern Japanese History,” an upper-division survey course taught in English. The opening is for the fall semester of 2016, with the possibility of renewal for subsequent years. The 4-credit course consists of two 90-minute sessions per week over the course of the 15-week semester (late September – late January). Students are typically native English speakers from overseas partner schools who are studying at J. F. Oberlin on exchange. Applicants for this position should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in Japanese history or a related field; candidates without a Ph.D. will be considered only in unusual circumstances. Pay follows university regulations and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
A complete application consists of:

CV listing educational and professional experience, etc., with attached 3 cm X
4 cm facial photograph; make sure to affix your seal (inkan) or signature to the CV.
- A
list of publications and other research achievements, similarly with affixed seal or
signature.
- Copies
of three of your most important publications, preferably in English, but if
not, in Japanese. Regardless of the size of the originals, please submit copies
on A4 or letter-size paper; no folding, please.
- For
those with no previous university-level teaching experience, a detailed
preliminary syllabus for the course in question, including the topic/content of
each of the 30 class sessions.
