Duke Libraries Receives Significant Gift from Emeritus Professor of Buddhist Studies.

I wanted to post this announcement about Paul Groner's gift to Duke, thanks in part due to Professor Richard Jaffe and the hard work of Duke's Japanese Studies Librarian, Matthew Hayes. Until this gift, Duke's collection has largely focused on 19th and 20th century Buddhism, so this will fill a significant chronological and sectarian gap. Although Duke no longer has travel grants, it welcomes visitors, and the books are also accessible through interlibrary loan.
