Hi PMJS,
I have created a work in progress website dedicated to a reconstructed dictionary of Proto-Japonic. The site is available here at https://sites.google.com/view/jcdic.
I have also created an open cognate set and Proto-Japonic reconstruction database in a spreadsheet. This is still very work in progress. Please give feedback.
A few questions:
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

Are you familiar with Lee and Hasegawa’s 2011 paper on the phylogeny of the Japonic languages? In their supplementary materials, they provide a large collection of Japonic cognate sets: https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/suppl/10.1098/rspb.2011.0518.

This might help you to rapidly populate your database.

Best wishes,

Siva
