With over 1,200 members, the European
Association for Japanese Studies (EAJS) is the
largest association for Japanese Studies in
Europe. Its triennial International Conferences bring together
PhD students, early-career scholars and experienced
researchers to present and discuss their work across the full
spectrum of disciplines, as well as interdisciplinary
areas, within Japanese Studies.
The 18th EAJS International Conference
will be hosted at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and
will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing participants to
join either in person or online.
We invite individual paper proposals
and pre-organised panel proposals for the following sections:
