Northern Illinois University has an open search for a Japanese instructor starting this coming fall for a one-year position. The link to the ad is below. While the minimum requirement is a Master's degree, the department is desirous to turn the position into a tenure-track position in the 2027-28 school year. The Japanese program is vibrant, and some of the upper-level classes require an individual with a doctorate to teach these. I encourage all who are interested to apply
