Dear colleagues,

The 237th Meeting of the American Society for Premodern Asia (formerly, AOS) will be held Friday, March 5 through Monday, March 8, 2027, in Chicago, IL. Scholars whose research intersects with any element of the study of premodern Asia are warmly invited to submit abstracts for consideration. While membership in the Society is required for those delivering accepted papers, new members are very welcome. Abstracts will be accepted through October 31, 2026.

Graduate students are especially invited to apply. The Society's Graduate Student Award allows a reimbursement of up to $1,500 of relevant expenses to students whose papers are accepted.
