Dear Colleagues,
I am very pleased to announce that the Japanese Studies section at Cambridge has launched a new book series in collaboration with the University of Hawai’i Press. Named the Japan and the World Book Series, it aims to support the publication of and encourage academically grounded approaches that both offer new insights into Japan from a global perspective and engages with methodologies and theories of a disciplinary nature. For more information, please see the attached flyer or go to https://uhpress.hawaii.edu/bookseries/japan-and-the-world/.
Initial queries should be sent to the press editor, but we can also be reached at japanbo...@ames.cam.ac.uk. The press and I are of course also happy to chat with interested scholars at the AAS in Vancouver.
Cheers,
Mickey
