Dear colleagues,

Please find attached a call for applications for a tenure-track position in Japanese language at the Department of East Asian Studies, Tel Aviv University.

The position is based in the Zvi Yavetz School of History and Regional Studies and is intended for scholars specializing in Japanese language and culture, with responsibilities including teaching introductory and advanced language and reading courses.

The appointment is expected to begin in October 2026, and the deadline for applications is May 1, 2026.
