Dear colleagues,
We’re excited to announce our search for a curatorial position at NMAA: the Shirley Z. Johnson Curator of Japanese Art.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in ceramics, metalwork, lacquer, textiles, and other areas of “decorative arts.” While Japanese art is the focus, we welcome candidates with a cross-regional approach.
The deadline for applications is May 18.
Please feel free to circulate widely and ping me directly with any questions.
With all best,
Frank
