The Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Colorado, Boulder is conducting a job search for a Visiting Assistant Professor in pre-modern Japanese literature for the academic year 2026-27.

Candidates should have their PhD conferred prior to the start of the appointment. The successful candidate will have well-focused research objectives and contribute to the department’s Japanese curriculum by teaching courses on Japanese literature and culture, including Classical Japanese language, at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
