-------
For various reasons, Cahiers d'Extr^eme-Asie had been interrupted for
some years. But now, we have completely reorganized the editorial
board and advisory board, and we begin to publish the issues as
quickly as possible (twice a year, if possible...). Each issue is
focused on some theme. It is dedicated especially to topics related
to East Asian cultural or religious history.
This issue is in a sense a Proceeding of an international conference
on Medieval Shinto which was held in April 2007 at Columbia University.
Best regard,
Nobumi Iyanaga
