Looking for a Specialist of Heian Period

Dear PMJS members,

I am trained in western literary theories and critical thinking so I have been working on Freudian psychoanalysis and Bakhtin's concepts for a few years. I am working on Genji monogatari for my second MA thesis and I would like to try to use a different approach on my project. However, before doing that I would like to ask the opinion of a professionalist in that field. 

Could you please direct me to a sociologist, an anthropologist or a historian who is specialised in the Heian period?
