Nobody showed up for today’s call (at least, not by the time I left around 10min into the call), possibly because I failed to send out a reminder message. My apologies for that - things have been a tad hectic this summer.
There wasn’t a lot to discuss really - PMIx/PRRTE have been rather quiet. The list of issues on each have been growing. I have fixes for several of them under development and mostly complete, but haven’t had the chance to finalize the changes. So things are going to progress rather slowly for awhile. I think my time will become more available in another month or two, and so that might help.
There have been some changes committed to the master and release branches, and there has been a release from both projects. You might want to take a glance at the news from the last releases and thru the commit history to see what has been happening since the releases. Here are a few things since the releases:
PMIx
* protect against LTO optimizer
* Read the Docs updates
* Warn against building tarball on MacOSX
* Fix regression that caused python to be mandatory to build
* Fix broken bashisms resulting in logic failure
* Apply prefix to copied version of the app array
PRRTE
* Protect against LTO optimizer
* Read the Docs updates
* Provide a warning of potentially unknown Slurm params
