Thurs July 3 telecon

Hi folks

Just a gentle reminder of our monthly developers telecon this Thursday July 3 at 11am US Eastern. I don’t have a lot on the agenda, but a few thoughts:

* finished converting server upcalls to no longer require return before executing callback function

* still working on APIs to ensure they correctly threadshift prior to touching internals

* spent much of my time last month on the Standard

   * replaced “log” upcall with a “log2” version

   * replaced “tool_connection” upcall with “tool_connection2"

   * extended group construction description covering the “bootstrap” method

   * documented all the macro-to-function conversions

   * elevated all provisional items to stable

   * converted process stat proposal to attributes

* currently working on implementing the Standard changes in the library

* next up: PRRTE resilience

It has come to my attention that several of our usual participants are unable to attend this month, so it looks like we would have a pretty limited group. Accordingly, I’m canceling this month’s meeting. We will reconvene on Aug 7th.
