Session Overview :

This session is based on a real life case study - as part of a capability building initiative aimed at enhancing the managerial and leadership competencies for those who manage large complex projects in the IT industry.

Managing projects is both an art and science; it demands you provide the technical leadership based on the project management methodology & manage both people and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.

Having said that there are enough and more challenges varying from changing user requirements, tight deadlines, optimization of time & resources and creating a business solution or a product that meets the client expectations in terms of features, functionality etc.

At times, in spite of our best efforts, there are project delays, programming errors etc which impacproject deadlines and impactproject profitability.

Understanding project management from a behavioral perspective and the importance of critical leadership competencies which align people, structure, strategy, vision, values create the necessary

work climate conducive to achieving the project goals.
