Hi All –

 

OCC is planning to conduct its tennis ball tournament at the OCC grounds starting this Sunday.

 

Can you guys please talk with your team members and confirm participation in this tournament by Wednesday.

 

The participation fee will be $175 - $200 per team, based on the number of teams participating. There will be cash prizes and individual player recognitions for all the games.

 

The schedule will be confirmed once we finalize the actual number of teams playing. We may use the Carter Lake ground, again based on the number of teams.

 

It will be held July 25 -26 with semis and finals on Aug 1 - 2.

yesterday for the tournament.

I just spoke to Manish and he said he is available coming weekend but

Yes, also we have 5 UNO players, of which we will pick only 3 as back up. All these guys are students and I have confirmation from

But, I don't want to promise them if we have a solid team.

We do have a solid team, we don't need to depend on others, just the fact that its hard to get people committed.

Manish, Im glad you are in for this weekend. We need slow bowlers (thats part of the strategy). The slower bowler you are, the harder the opponents have to work to get runs.

Biswa, I would like you to practice some slowest bowling as well .
