Subject: OCCT20 challenger series 2009- semi finals and final schedule

Dear Captains and Reps:   As you all know the first round of OCCT20 challenger series was a grand success. Last weekend was amazing with some excellent nail biters. The ground was packed with lot of people/players and spectators. ( weekend drew around 120 people to our grounds, lot of tennis ball team are excited to form a leather ball team for local league paricipation)   I would like to thank Devkanth from "The Rookies" for putting up a team in the last minute to just participate. I thank the whole team for their spirit.   Terminators put up a great show with manju almost pulling them in to semi's. Very good team with some bad luck. The defending champions couldnot pull it this time. I thanks them for adding up spice to the tournament.   Mavericks ( BCBS), I rate them as seed 1 or 2 team, somehow their implementation was rusty to finish it and put it away. I thank Manoj, Pradeesh, Chaitu for your spirit and enthusiasm in paricipating. I appreciate your support. I thanks each one of the team members for making this event successful.   Finally Congratulations to Prokarma, OCC, LCC and 11 legends:   Pool A: NO:1 OCC ( Won both the matches) securing 8 points NO:2 Prokarma ( won one match) securing 4 points   Pool B No:3 : LCC ( won both the matches)- 8 points ( Net run rate:2.395)                                               No:4: 11 legends ( won both the matches)- 8 points ( Net run rate: 1.601)   So, Semi's schedule would be :   Saturday ( 08/01):   LCC Vs Prokarma:   10:00-11:30 11:30 to 11:45 break 11:45 to 1:15   OCC Vs 11 legends 5:30-6:45 6:45-6:55 break 6:55-8:10   Finals:   Sunday (08/02): 10:00-11:30 11:30 to 11:45 break 11:45 to 1:15   Award presentation cermony is at 1:30-2:00pm.   Note: Organizing committee reserves the rights to reschedule any game in case of  unforseen obstacles.   Pls find the updated schedule document.   Thank you very much for participation.     Avdhoot or Vamsi: Please forward this to Tennis ball google groups.   Bhaskar OCC-president 415 9033
