Micron's 3DXP

Hi all

I'm sure you already know it - https://investors.micron.com/news-releases/news-release-details/micron-updates-data-center-portfolio-strategy-address-growing

I think this is pretty bad Micron's decision.  I don't see any CXL products or even prototypes, except just block diagrams with squares, circles and arrows, while 3DXP works pretty well.  Seems to be production CXL in best case for 2023 or even later.

Does anybody know what type of persistent memory Micron plans to use in CXL.mem ??

Yes, which is wildly expensive although I'm sure it's fast.

Again, no one knows, maybe including them.

Yes, that's what I expect too. I could really use an eADR system for power-fail testing, so I'm very interested in that announcement.
