Dear All,
The latest updated PME Task List is shared in HCL VSS at the following location:
 
$/IREPS/Project Management/Documents/PME/PME Activity List.xls
 
All the existing activities are added in the file. 
From May 21, 2012 - Monday, we will start the activities as assigned through 
this PME Task List. Deepti will prepare the Weekly Status Review Report on the activities 
carried out by us in a separate report and share with us on consecutive Mondays in the
same folder.

1)   Performance tuning for Production application code :Code optimization is required for IREPS application for better performance and throughput.

For Performance log monitoring:

Associated Team: Kaushlesh and Poonam

Task description: They will analyze the Production perfLogs and consolidate the report of all the files (process) which are taking higher process time.

Code Optimization:

Associated Team: Trivendra, Sonu , Poonam

Task description: Code optimization for all the identified processes. Deployment and Simulation of load will be done on 10.30.1.32 set up (Separate set up for R&D). Required changes will be deployed on this set up. Total time consumed by identified process before and after changes will be properly documented. Then after functional and load testing it will be deployed on staging set up.

Time Required

2)   Database Optimization:

 

Associated Team: Ashish, Santlal,Poonam

Task Description:  SQL Queries and Procedures optimization. Building of new indexes, if required  and designing of database functions for optimizing the application process.

 

Overall activity supervised by : Rajaram sir

 

Report will be submitted after analysis and rectification.

Please add below two pionts in PME activity list with ref of e-mail dtd 16 May 12.
  1. Large numbers of  DB Error code (mentioned below) available in BV logs
  2. Large numbers of  req=NULL available in Performance logs.

Error Code 13024 :- New in Notice
Error Code 13029 :- New in Notice
Error Code 2116 :-  New in Notice

Error Code 13022 :- Already in notice (resolution at some location has already been done)
Error Code 13216 :- Already in notice (resolution at some location has already been done)
Error Code 17001 :- Already in notice
Error Code 17002 :- Already in notice

Please update below mentioned error in central repository:
  1. New Reporting code: 17210, reason: BVC_ContentManager:
  2. bv_db_ex_handler:[SERVERERROR]
  3. BVSM_Request:parse_input: and BVSM_Request::split:
  4. System Exception CORBA::StExcep::COMM_FAILURE with relation to Reporting code: 17002
  5. Failed to map servlet path

Dear Mr. Gupta,
For the record I have document the Plan of Performance Improvement that we have discussed 
already and work is already progressing on the same. Some lag has occurred in the progress 
as Sonu and Trivendra were busy with BV Training for the whole week. Please refer to the 
attachment for the plan details which includes major activities which we are doing for now and 
what we plan to do in next phase as well.

this task. I request you to please approve this activity and we will soon decide on Start Date for the same.
