I've got FreeBSD 8.0 running on a Intel Xeon X5450 and am trying to
look at BUS_TRAN_MEM.
pmstat -s BUS_TRAN_MEM comes back with zeros.
Any hints?
Sorry for any bother.
# pmcstat -s BUS_TRANS_MEM,agent=any,core=all -w1
# s/00/BUS_TRANS_MEM s/01/BUS_TRANS_MEM s/02/BUS_TRANS_MEM s/03/
BUS_TRANS_MEM
31093562 31091996 31092629
31095066
31150579 31155645 31155441
31153421
al3150a# pmcstat -s BUS_TRANS_MEM,agent=any,core=all -w1
pmcstat: ERROR: Cannot allocate system-mode pmc with specification
"BUS_TRANS_MEM,agent=any,core=all": Invalid argument
The output of "uname -a" is below. I will recheck my compilation of
the kernel to make sure I didn't miss anything.
Thanks.
