Every summer is a-lot of work to do outside. And with work clothes, they easily get ripped and damaged.

I have 3 sewing machines and many sewing needles for hand stitch.

I guess I like sewing as I have many things to learn, not least of which is how a sewing machine works. Still trying to get a mathematical overlay of how the Sewing machine works.

As for hand stitch, I am still in discovery mode as to the strongest stitch and how to start and especially how to end the stitch.

At this moment in my life--- age 76 years--- I decided to not buy any more clothes but to wear out all the clothes I now have. I doubt I can do that with the socks and underwear.

One of my pants was ripped down the middle and instead of patching it, I decided to sew it into another pants, doubling it up for winter wear.

Sewing has much in common with mathematics geometry, and is the reason I favor it so much.
